I had one whole packet of grapes at home. Grapes that were about to rot, actually. I needed something beyond salads to use them. Found this raita recipe - a delicious combination of seasoned yogurt (raita) with fruit + nuts + herb + spices that turned out sooooo good! This Grapes and Walnut Raita is going to be addictive if you have a taste like mine.
Enjoy.

25-30 or as many green and/or red grapes, halved or quartered
½ cup or as many walnuts, chopped
2 cups curd/yogurt, whisked
½ tsp roasted cumin powder
2 Tbsp fresh mint leaves (pudina), chopped
Pinch of red chili powder
Salt as per taste
1 ½ tsp sugar or as per taste
Let’s Begin!
- Whisk curd in a large bowl (add little water if it’s too thick, but don’t make it watery; it should be creamy consistency).
- Add salt, sugar, cumin powder & red chili powder & mix well.
- Add grapes, walnuts & mint leaves & fold in gently.
- Place in refrigerator to chill or use it right away.
- Sprinkle some red chili powder & cumin powder on top if you wish & serve.
Enjoy.
