Eggless Vanilla Pudding with Various Toppings | Easy Dessert Recipe

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I depend on an eggless vanilla pudding or eggless chocolate pudding to save the day when I have to prepare dessert for dinner – either for ourselves or dinner party.

I shared the simple vanilla pudding with you last time with simple garnishes.  Here, I’m using the similar eggless vanilla pudding recipe but with various berry toppings.

These homemade berry toppings, also known as berry compote or berry sauce, are easy to make and perfect to pour over plain vanilla ice cream too (that’s what I do when I do not have an after-dinner dessert prepared for the day).  Recipe for berry topping here.

I had raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries at home – so I made very small amounts of fruit topping with each berry.

Although I used the same eggless vanilla pudding recipe, since the berry toppings are of a certain amount of sweetness on their own, I have only reduced the quantity of sugar to 1 Tbsp (instead of 1½ Tbsp) from the original vanilla pudding recipe.  For the recipe, detailed procedure, tips and suggestions, check the vanilla pudding and chocolate pudding posts.

You could try various topping ideas for this kind of Eggless Vanilla Pudding where the sugar is reduced since the topping, such as a mixed berry topping or a mixed berry compote, is already sweet.

And if you make the eggless chocolate pudding (reducing the sugar similarly to make for a sweet topping), you could add Hershey’s chocolate sauce or Nutella as a topping over the chocolate pudding.  And top it further with chocolate balls or sprinkles, may be?
